Abstract
Researchers at Sandia National Laboratories and the University of New Mexico have been exploring the potential of applying dimples in specific sizes and patterns to various objects. This application can drastically improve air flow and reduce drag, but figuring out exactly which sizes and patterns to apply on such objects has taken some time to develop.
